The 6th Green Hospitals Asian Conference is coming to India on February 1 - 3, 2023! After navigating through the challenges of the pandemic the past 2 years, we can now finally be together to continue our efforts towards low-carbon, climate-resilient, sustainable health systems and healthier communities.

Objectives

The 6th GHAC aims to build a stronger leadership and movement for healthcare climate action across Asia, focusing on resilience, mitigation, and pandemic recovery.

Specific Objectives

  • To foster sharing of knowledge and experiences on climate adaptation and resilience in Asian healthcare while also tackling the issue of health inequity and universal access to healthcare.
  • To establish a vision of low-carbon and sustainable healthcare in Asia, highlighting the experiences in procurement and waste management as a mitigation action
  • To identify the lessons learned for achieving global health and environmental goals from COVID-19
  • To broaden and highlight the leadership role of the healthcare sector in transforming and influencing climate and health actions, operations, policies and programs across Asia.
